Anne Bonds (bondsa@uwm.edu) is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Her research interests center upon geographical approaches to political economy, social theory, and critical poverty and development studies. She has published research on the topics of gender and economic restructuring, the politics of economic development, and cultural constructions of race, ethnicity, and poverty.
